Bought the game on launch day (July 29th). Played it all weekend; racked up about 32 hours and I'm only midway though Chapter 4. I can only assume, based on the other Xenoblade games, that there are going to be about a dozen chapters.

This is the reason I was trying so hard to finish Sicktember stuff in July, lol.

My brother also bought the game on launch, so it's been fun to discuss plot points with him whenever we both come up for air. Even though I think he's farther ahead in the plot than me (I faffed around exploring for a couple hours and fell behind).  My fave things about the game so far are Taion, the fantasy swears, and the possible lore-supported aro/ace rep (if you can call it that - I'm counting my chickens before they hatch on this one, anyway).
